What Are We Reading? 

 Night Magic: Adventures Among Glowworms, Moon Gardens, and Other Marvels of the Dark by Leigh Ann Henion is a 2024 book that celebrates the biodiversity of the night, encouraging readers to find wonder in darkness rather than fear it. Henion explores nocturnal marvels like synchronous fireflies, bioluminescent mushrooms, and moon gardens, traveling with naturalists and biologists to discover the life that thrives after sunset, while also addressing the impact of light pollution.

What Are We Reading?  

The Book Club for Troublesome Women by Marie Bostwick is a historical fiction novel about four suburban housewives in 1960s Virginia who form a secret book club, nicknamed "the Bettys," to discuss controversial books like The Feminine Mystique, leading to feminist awakenings, self-discovery, and a powerful bond of sisterhood as they navigate personal challenges and a changing world.
